But it was raining, so we decided to smoke a cigar. He was excited about the CAO OSA Sol because he read that it was rated really highly in some catalogue he gets. So I decided to give it a shot. It's not cheap cigar. It's mid-priced on the low side. I think it cost me about $7.50. No big complaint there. Also, these are a lot cheaper at the online discounters -- only about $5/stick.

I haven't heard of these yet. Apparently this CAO OSA Sol line is a BFD because it's a proprietary wrapper and blend. Well, all cigars are a proprietary blend. It's also the first line released after CAO was acquired by General Cigar.

Whatever. I found it to be an ok smoke overall. It was decent at best. Nothing to get too excited about. At the price point, I think there are better smokes out there.
